This price includes paying for the cameraman’s time at the wedding, in addition to all of the work that has to be done after the wedding such as developing the prints. You are paying for high quality work and you want your pictures to appear as brilliant as possible so the high price tends to be worth it when you want to preserve your memories.

The photographer will also assemble the album and this can be included in the price you are given. They can typically do a really good job of telling the story of your wedding when creating the album. If you want extras such as special effects or for the photographer to spend extra time at the event then this will cost extra so plan accordingly. If you are on a really tight budget and only want to spend the minimum, ask him or her for the most basic package.
