Before you begin meeting with florists, you absolutely need to know what your bridesmaids, moms and groomsmen are wearing. If you don’t know what they are wearing, then it is impossible to pick out flowers in a color that will match them. You don’t pick out the flowers then match the bridal party to them, the flowers match with those in the wedding.

In addition to this, you need to have some kind of idea what flowers you want. You don’t just pick a color and then take whatever flower happens to be that color. You need to first make a list of your color palette and then choose your favorite flowers. Show these to your florist and hopefully you will be able to get the flowers you want in colors that match your palette. If not, your florist will be able to see what kinds of flowers you like and make some suggestions for ones you might like that come in colors that match your bridal party.
